Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – A message from Millionair Club Charity
The past week has been a momentous time in the history of our city and our country. People are rising up to demand justice, reform, and equality for our black community members, and Millionair Club Charity supports their fight for the recognition, opportunity, and respect they deserve. We sincerely believe black lives matter.
At this time, we are humbly listening to the cries for change so that we may better learn how to help. Our temporary staffing operation frequently serves people experiencing homelessness, a population that is disproportionately filled with people of color. We recognize that systemic racism and subjugation of non-white peoples in our country holds too many people back from employment opportunities, education, housing, and the basic respect necessary to live a happy, fulfilling life. We want to know what we can do better so that these barriers may continue to be broken down.
We have always opened our doors to people from all walks of life, but we are committed to doing more. This is not a problem that will be solved overnight, and we vow to stand on the side of justice for our black neighbors, friends, brothers, and sisters. We invite any and all feedback so that we may best serve our community.
